ABOUT CLAUDIA

Hey.
I'm Claudia.

Computer scientist. Founder. Podcaster. And someone who firmly believes that complicated doesn't have to stay complicated.

I translate technology into a language that people can understand— so that uncertainty turns into understanding, and understanding turns into the ability to take action.

I don't want people to simply use technology.

I want them to understand what they're doing with it.
WHAT DRIVES ME

Understanding makes a difference.

Maybe you've experienced this moment:

You're faced with something new and think: "I just don't get it."

And eventually, someone else will explain it. Maybe using a different example. In other words. Without unnecessary jargon.

And suddenly: “Ahhh. Now I get it!”

It's exactly these moments that fascinate me.

Because when we understand something, things often lose some of their terror. We can ask questions, experiment, examine things more closely, and make our own decisions.

That's exactly what my work is all about.

My goal is not to tell you what to think.

I want to help you think for yourself.
MY STORY

It all started with computer science.

I studied computer science and earned my Bachelor of Science in 2008.

After that, I worked as an application developer. So technology had been a part of my life for a long time, before artificial intelligence suddenly became a hot topic of conversation everywhere.

But I've never been interested just in what technology can do.

I'm just as interested in, if not more so, what it does to people.

Why do some people understand a technical topic right away, while others feel left out?

Why do so many people think: “That’s not for me”?

And how can we explain technology in a way that makes people curious, rather than causing them to shy away from it?

2022 · CLAUDIA GRIMM ACADEMY

So I founded my own academy.

In January 2022, the Claudia Grimm Academy was founded .

My original idea was simple: to show children and teenagers that programming isn't something to be afraid of.

I especially wanted to encourage girls to not automatically leave technology to others.

Since then, through my work, I have already been able to reach more than 2,400 children and teens with programming and digital education.

2.400+

Children & Teens

Since the organization was founded, my programs have helped participants gain exposure to programming and digital education.

With a mission that remains the same to this day: Making the future easier to understand.

1

The idea behind it

Learning should spark curiosity. And no one should think that technology is “not for me.”

AND THEN CAME AI

Suddenly, it was about much more than just programming.

Artificial intelligence is currently changing the way we learn, work, conduct research, program, and evaluate information.

At the same time, I observe two extremes:

boundless enthusiasm on the one hand and great fear on the other.

I think both sides are too simple on their own.

AI offers enormous possibilities. But it makes mistakes. It can sound convincing and still be wrong. It raises questions about data protection, copyright, accountability, and education.

That's why I don't want to just show people which button they need to press.

I'd like to explain, what's going on behind the scenes.

HOW I WORK

There are four things that are important to me in this regard.

01

I understand.

Expert knowledge is only truly helpful, if people can put it to use.

02

Curious.

You don't have to know everything right away. A good question is often more valuable than a quick answer.

03

Critical.

Technology fascinates me. That's exactly why I also want to talk about its limitations and challenges.

04

Human.

AI is a tool. People decide what to do with it.

AI can help you, find your own path.

But it should never tell you, what your path is.
WHAT I'M DOING TODAY

Today, I bring technology, learning, and people together.

Today, at claudianicoleta.com, a place is taking shape where all these experiences come together.

I explain AI and digital technologies, develop learning formats, work with people and organizations, and create spaces, where learning can actually take place.

AIHEAD!

The Community.

For people who want to understand AI, try it out, and critically examine it— together with others.

BUSINESS

For teams and organizations.

AI Literacy, Workshops, AI Labs and learning formats for organizations that truly want to engage their people in the AI transformation.

AND BEYOND THE RESUME?

I am one thing above all else: incredibly curious.

I love taking things apart, understanding how they work, and then explaining them in a way that others can understand.

I believe in education. In curiosity. In second, third, and sometimes even tenth tries.

And I believe that in a world full of artificial intelligence, we need something very special:

People who think for themselves.
